The brief

Think Local Act Personal wanted to create an online hub where people could reflect on the language used in health and social care. It needed to be informative and engaging, featuring perspectives from people who work in health and social care and people who draw on it.

The approach

We identified human-centred language as the guiding principle. This shaped everything from the topics we covered to the stories we included. I developed the hub gathering perspectives and creating content that was both informative and practical. To launch, I built a social media campaign around the questions: why does language matter, and what can I do differently?

The impact

The result is a comprehensive online hub exploring key topics through videos, practical guidance and real voices. It is now an established resource used by people who work in health and social care. It helps shift how the sector thinks and talks about the people it serves.
